I come from a long line of artists and aviators, so it was probably inevitable that I’d end up combining the two. My first exposure to aviation maintenance was bucking rivets for my grandfather while working on his RV-3, at the age of ten! Since then, I’ve been a theatre techie, graphic designer, video producer, aviation mechanic, and college aviation maintenance instructor.

These days, I run the daily operations of a nationwide non-profit, bringing aviation maintenance education to high school students. Along the way, I also earned my private pilot and commercial drone operator certificates—because once aviation gets its hooks in you, there’s no escape.

I started The Tee Hangar as a way to connect my artistic side with the career field I love. Aviation folks deserve great designs that celebrate their world, whether they spend their days fixing, flying, directing traffic, or keeping everything running behind the scenes. This store is for those who work in aviation and those who love them because aviation isn’t just a job; it’s an identity.
